Principal Broker Lloyd G. Fisher is a Brevard native and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he played linebacker on the varsity football team. Lloyd founded Fisher Realty in 1977 and has been active in the real estate community since that time.
Lloyd has directed the marketing of some of the area’s finest developments including Straus Park, Chasewood, Lobdell Woods, Stone’s Lake, and Glen Cannon Properties, Inc. He has also played a vital role in many of the area’s commercial ventures. Lloyd is involved in many civic activities. He has served as Chairman of the Transylvania County Planning Board and is on the Board of Trustees of Brevard College and the Board of Directors of Transylvania Vocational Services, Transylvania Community Hospital Foundation, and the Transylvania County Historical Association.
Lloyd’s interests include traveling, following the Tar Heels, and fly fishing. |
Broker-In-Charge Mary Kathryn Fisher has been a vital part of Fisher Realty since its inception. She directs the marketing and is at the helm of strategic planning. She is a graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with an A.B. degree in English. She is a native of Brevard.
Mary Kathryn’s interests include animals, reading, antiques, history, and travel. She enjoys seeing new places and meeting people from different cultures. Her travels have taken her to all seven continents – from a Masai village in Tanzania to the icy steeps of Antarctica. Her interests also include supporting several organizations which advance the interests of children and animals. |

Amy Fisher is a Brevard native and lifelong member of the Fisher Realty team. She has a BS in interior design from Meredith College. Amy has been a licensed real estate broker since 1998.
Amy is an active member of the community and serves on the Board of Directors for SAFE (Shelter Assistance for Family Emergencies) and Whitewater Cove Children's Home. In addition, she currently serves as the chairperson for the Brevard Board of REALTORS Scholarship Committee.

A native of Ohio, David spent several years in the Tampa Bay area of Florida before moving to the mountains of Western North Carolina in 1971. David resided at Sapphire Lakes and sold residential properties in the Sapphire – Lake Toxaway area until 1996 when he moved to Brevard and joined Fisher Realty as a member of the initial sales team at Straus Park.
David and his wife Ede reside at Glen Cannon where they are members of Glen Cannon Country Club and are avid golfers. |
Rex Bradley, a true native of Western North Carolina, has never had the desire to live anywhere else. Rex's dad brought him to Davidson River to camp and fish as a child and now Rex is a full-time resident of Brevard.
Rex brings a lifetime of experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains of WNC and 30 years of experience in the construction industry to your service.
Rex and his wife Carol have three sons and are very involved in Little League Baseball. Rex is an active leader in his church and believes in integrity in every area of business.

Roy Brasington, from Columbia, SC, is a graduate of Furman University where he was a letterman for cheerleading, cross-country, and track. As a US Army Officer he received the Army Commendation Medal for service in Germany and the Bronze Star Medal for service in Vietnam.
After operating his family owned business in the wholesale distribution industry in Columbia for alsmost 20 years, Roy sold the business and moved to Transylvania County, where he worked as a real estate broker for the Lake Toxaway Co. for over 12 years.
Roy joined Fisher Realty in May, 2005 and lives with his wife, Edie and golden retriever "Buddy" in Straus Park.

Jay and Jewell have been residents of Brevard, NC since 1982. Jay was born and raised in South Florida; Jewell was born and raised in Michigan. They have been married for 30 years and have two adult children.

John Krause has been continuously active in real estate since 1974, starting in Arizona, then moving to Hilton Head Island, and finally settling in Brevard in 2000. John's professional experience prior to real estate was in publishing and financial controllership, both of which have served him well in his real estate career.
Over the years John has worked in most facets of residential and commercial real estate, and in the early 80's helped pioneer the use of buyer agency in residential real estate.
John has several articles published in REALTOR Magazine, the professional journal of the National Association of REALTORS, and holds the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute) professional designations. John has degrees from the University of Colorado and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
John and his wife Joanne have ventured to most corners of the globe (East Africa is still their favorite) and have lived in some of the most desirable locations in the country, but both feel they have truly found paradise in Brevard. Demi and her husband Al moved to Brevard from Columbia, SC almost two years ago. Brevard is familiar territory to Demi as she grew up in Greenville, and started coming to Brevard as a child.
She and her husband have owned property on Slick Rock Mountain for 20 years and reside in Straus Park on a full time basis.
Demi's previous careers include teaching, employer/employee conflict resolution, and being the deputy director of two state agencies in South Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina where she obtained a BA and MPA.

Sue Nicholson Loftis recently joined the sales staff of Fisher Realty. Suzie is a lifelong resident of Transylvania County. She is a graduate of Rosman High School and of Mars Hill College. She has a BS in Business Administration and a Certificate in Management. She and her husband Charles currently own a restaurant franchise for Moe’s Southwest Grill in Knoxville, TN. Previously, they owned Loftis Oxygen & Medical Equipment Inc. in Brevard. Prior to working in the family business, Suzie was with the P. H. Glatfelter Company, formerly Ecusta Corporation for 23 years. She worked in the Accounting and Marketing Departments and later as the International Customer Service Manager.
Suzie received her real estate education from Cumbie & Trull School of Real Estate in Asheville, NC.
Suzie and her husband reside in Brevard and enjoy spending time with their daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Rodney Moore and granddaughter Brianna. Suzie is the daughter of Frances Nicholson of Lake Toxaway and the late John C. Nicholson. She invites her friends to visit her at Fisher Realty located at 10 Park Place West in Straus Park.

Troy ’s passion for real estate started 15 years ago when he began investing in commercial property. He later became an agent in California where he worked in Pasadena and Beverly Hills in one of the top producing offices in the country.
Troy is also nationally recognized for hosting a popular television show about real estate on HGTV (Home & Garden Television). His television show, “Building Character”, focused on commercial properties around the United States that were renovated into homes.
Troy received his B.A. with honors from Columbia in Chicago. His strong business background includes being the National Marketing Director for Mortgage Edge Corporation in Chicago and Vice President of Marketing for Cloud Nine Productions.
Troy is passionate about the outdoors and the environment. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and waterfalls. After a nationwide search, he and his wife, Rebecca, chose Brevard as the place to settle and raise their family.

A successful realtor in the Chicago area prior to relocation, Barbara Tapley is an enthusiastic newer resident of Brevard. She and her husband live in Straus Park and enjoy all the sights and activities that make our mountains so special.
Prior to a career in real estate, Barbara was a travel agent specializing in adventure and luxury travel. She has toured much of the world but is happy to call Brevard home.

Nick Williamson has joined the Fisher Realty sales team. Nick moved to Brevard over a year ago from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Originally from Petersburg, Virginia, he graduated with honors from Hampden-Sydney College with a degree in Economics.
Nick has spent the past two years working as a legal assistant on real estate transactions both in Wyoming, where he was also a licensed real estate agent, and here in Brevard for a local attorney,
Nick and his wife, Alston, just finished building their first home in Whiskey Creek. Both enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing, cycling, and many of the other outdoor activities Transylvania County has to offer.
